The Library Committee consists of Principal as the Chairperson, Vice Principal, Academic Head, Non academic head, Literary Coordinators (Dzongkha & English) and Librarians as members.
The Library committee is to exercise general direction, control, supervision and guidance over the affairs of the library. The Library Committee is also responsible to set policy, help in formulating rules and regulation, take decisions in disciplinary matters and the Librarian is to implement the policy by working within the frame work of the general policy laid down by the committee.
The Committee will focus on promoting Library Development and ensure a better understanding between the readers and the library policies. The committee meets as and when required. The planning is done in beginning of the academic session.
The committee will take decisions on the following:
- Selection & acquisition
- stock verification
- library policies
- type of loan system
- library loan period
- library fine
- missing books
It is headed by Coordinator and he/she directs member of committee.
The Coordinator must ensure optimum use of Library resources available.
